Cavern
A downloadable game for Windows, macOS, and Linux
Cavern is a Roguelike Puzzler where you play as the level editor. Select an object to open up the - DEBUG MENU - and swap out objects for other ones. Turn a slime into a key. or a wall into a bomb. Intercept bullets in mid air and turn them to your side.
As you go deeper into the Cavern, the level generation becomes more chaotic, and the player gains more control.
Cavern was made over the span of 48 hours for the GMTK 2023 game jam. I deleted the game file on accident after the submission time so it is not available to play on the submission page sadly. I'll be submitting this page to the unofficial "post jam' jam here on itch. Thanks!

I made it to floor 238 before the game crashed from all the explosions. It was fun while it lasted.
Yo nice! I think I may turn this into a full game so thanks for stress testing it haha I'll definitely fix that.
i really wish this had like a sandbox mode
if you get far enough it basically is a sandbox mode I think at floor 50 you can start spawning players, but that can be tough to reach. if I continue development I'll definitely make a full sandbox mode along with the main gameplay, thanks for the feedback
yes i get to floor 100, but its also annoying to have to spawn things in i ment like a level editor and maybe a way to make new sprites and thing,

Oh yea that'd be cool, I see what you mean. I'd like to add a lot of stuff to help with the tediousness like a box select and a freeze or pause time
